Lola’s menu is anchored by “everyday favorites:” baked and fried chicken, meatloaf and pulled pork. Current owner Bruce Stewart used to tend the fire at the old clubhouse on Country Club Road when he was 13, back when it was The Cabin in the Pines Restaurant. After years in Charlotte running a restaurant called Lola’s, Stewart returned home to Brevard after the Charlotte restaurant changed hands and spotted the silent building. After months of cleanup and renovation, Stewart and his former restaurant colleague, JK Hamilton, opened the revived clubhouse in early 2017.
